Hummingbird Cottage Crafts became a reality in September of 1999. It fulfilled a life-long dream of owning and operating a needlework shop. Starting out in tiny quarters in a commercial office/warehouse building, the business grew and we moved to a bright, large retail shop in May 2000. One more move in June 2004 has brought us to our current location on 10 acres of property located 5 minutes from our old address within the city of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Here, in a bright and spacious farm building nestled amongst the cherry orchard, vegetable gardens and hayfields, we bring to the world a fabulous selection of materials for all types of needlework.

We currently stock an extensive supply of patterns, books, charts, leaflets, threads, fabrics, kits, beads, buttons, crystal treasures, embellishments, stitching tools, finishing accessories and various types of lamps, magnification, floor & table stands, etc. for the most discerning stitcher. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced needleworker, there are always inspiring ideas and products to see at Hummingbird Cottage.

Our next logical step was to create an opportunity for customers living outside of our area to purchase products and materials over the Internet. We’re very excited to bring to you the latest patterns, newest thread colors and a growing selection of fabrics to choose from. We constantly strive to keep our bead, button and treasure lines well stocked. We carry full thread lines and have lots of stitching tools and accessories to add to your stash.

Our number one goal is to provide our customers with the best possible customer service. Please feel free to e-mail us with any suggestions you might have.
